Disappointing: A fan that bids for a Mixtape Messiah 7 cd on Ebay and tries to mess up the charity auction for others just so they can get a chance to talk to me or to try to convince me to give the cd to them for free. The money is going to charity of kids that deserve it and not me. Have some respect. I had to do it a couple times to get it right because of some people that just don't get it. What bothers me the most about it is the time that it consumes for me to do all this and some people that only seem to care about themselves.
Good: A person that enters the Mixtape Messiah contest and wins a copy just so they can give the authentic cd to someone else who they know appreciates it more and really deserves it. That type of action shows me that there are still good people in this crazy world.
Disappointing: A fan that feels that whatever they say I have to do is mandatory because they have supported my music or purchased some of my cds in the past. A fan that gets upset when the email they sent is not replied to. A fan that becomes a hater when someone else does a good job or wins. Give someone props when they are rewarded for trying instead of trying to tear them down.
Good: A fan that realizes that an artist can't save the world and realizes thats sometimes its just the thought that counts. A person that appreciates the learning experience even when they lose.
Complaining wont get you too far in this world. I learned that from CEO'S that already knew that before I became a BOSS. I learned that during my time dealing with these major labels. I learned that from LIFE. When you are not the person creating the opportunities then you either deal with it or go create your own when things aren't going the way you want. Thats what I would say to anyone that feels the need to complain. Deal with it or go create something that you feel is worthy of your time. You are not under chamillionaire.com house arrest and nobody has signed you to an exclusive contract that says you have to be here.
Let me remind you that I don't believe the post I just made represents the actions of a majority of you. I just see some people sometimes that get it a little twisted. When the thought of Mixtape Messiah 7 dies down after im done giving out all the cds, people that hate this process will be put out of their misery. It will be all over soon and you can go right back to conducting whatever important business you were doing before these contests popped up and ruined your life.

I hope when I'm more established in the industry, I'll have half of the loyalty you have with the fans. You have imo, one of, if not the best fan base any artist has right now. Even though I didn't win in the banner and logo contests it was still fun competing. People need to realize that not everyone is going to win a real copy of MM 7. Congratulations to the winners and thanks Cham for giving everyone a chances, chances actually to win a real copy.
Some people don't realize that you can't win everything.
This is no different than buying a lottery ticket.
I guarantee that there are some people on here that could probably realistically do much more with a few million bucks from the lotto than they can with a CD of MM7, but only a few people win the lotto. Do you think that every person that didn't win is sitting at home, bawling their eyes out and throwing a conniption fit because they didn't win? No, because the chances of winning that are so slim.
To all the people hating/complaining, think about this: There are only 100 copies of this CD. You KNOW Koopa has more than 100 fans. There's only gonna be a few winners, so instead of beating yourself up over it even though the odds were against you to begin with, maybe you should be excited for the fan that just won, and just go download the CD for free. I know I want one of these CDs just as bad as about anybody on this website, but I realize that if I don't win one, there's someone else out there that Cham felt was more deserving of it than I am, and Cham's the man...he's in charge of this.
What I guess I'm trying to say is that maybe you should be more appreciative that Cham is even letting you download the CD (because he could have easily just let the 100 winners be the only people to ever hear it), and instead of being a hater and raining on everybody else's parade because you didn't get your way, pause and be happy for the people that did win, because how would you feel if you just won that CD and got a call from Koopa, and you feel like you're on top of the world, then you log on here, and it's just people hating you?

I think people should have confidence in the things they do, but when they openly complain about how they should have won or talk down about other entries it makes them look weak.
It doesn't mean you're not good at what you do, it just means it's not what Cham was looking for. There is always a chance someone out there is better, especially nowadays.
The opportunities to win are great on here and give a wide variety of people a showcase for their talents. The t-shirt contest where the 'idea' of a great t-shirt gives people who have good ideas but lack a way of making it look good graphically is one example of it.
I applaud Koopa for going through all the entries and even giving a one sentence "thanks for your entry..." or an @reply on twitter letting you know he's watching/reading make it worth it to me...I don't know any other platinum selling rap artists that are doing this much for their fanbase.

I like many other Chamillionaire fans were disappointed when we didn't get the call, email, and etc., but I understand that there are probably more deserving people out there and I give them props. I can't fucking believe that somebody could COMPLAIN about doing like what? 2 hours of work to get a CD that 1st off is the best in the game till you make your album and second is the end of an era CD... I made a commemorative poster that I have yet to send into you cham but I will tomorrow. But 2 hours of work isn't that much and if you add it up that's 14 dollars work wise if it's 7.50 an hour but this 2 disc set would be at least 28 dollars... So technically you are getting one of the greatest CD's for 14 dollars... stop fucking complaining.

I had to have it. I didnt care how I got it or how it was as long as I got it. I just want to listen to ur music. So i patiently waited and then downloaded it. It was free after all. To me all that matters is I get the damn music. But thats just me. Same way with pants and shoes and shit. As long as they serve they purpose I dont care bout no packaging or price.
